Hello, Ram Band members! The latest information on the '75-'76-'77 reunions will be available here, as well as information and photos you would like to share with the rest of us. Please send them to Robin Rogers. If you have a webpage and would like us to link to it, or to other websites, get in touch. Check out the discussion board, where you can share your thoughts with others on-line. We would like this site to become a resource for all Marshall band members--not just those from the '70s—because, of course, the years we spent in high school band were the best years of our lives! Weren't they?! Okay, maybe you'd like to tell us about some other good years you've had. To get you started, some thought-provoking questions are on the next page. Be sure to check back regularly for new information, messages, and more photos. Message from MarkThe reunion was a great success. Over 175 alumni plus their families attended over the course of the weekend, well over half of the alumni from '75, '76, and '77. The people to thank have to start with Mr. Lewis, Mr.Kuentz, and Mr.Briggs. These men have made us the family we are and always will be. Thank you for your hard work, patience, and love. Debbie Teal-Hollis, Mrs.Teal, Pat Tyra-Carman, Juli Perry-Briggs, and others helped with information on band alumni and boosters. Charlie Traeger, Les LeBleu, Pat Tyra-Carman, and Juli Perry-Briggs contributed financially over and above what was required for their own attendance so that we could enjoy ourselves with the best possible food, entertainment, and venues. Pattie Fahy-Brenner provided all of the news articles and pictures that we enjoyed throughout the weekend. The ever-present Rampoon staff provided the most recent issue of The Irrational Great-Great-Grandson of Rampoon, complete with updates on 1977 alumni, including the elusive Thomas K. Soho We had a mini-reunion at the Homecoming game on October 17, 2003, and Mark Stephens very kindly hosted a party the following night at his home. Go to the band discussion board for further details and to post your comments: www.voy.com/126375/. And be sure to check back here to see the photos! You will be receiving periodic updates and information over the next few months for upcoming band events. To update your e-mail address or other details, please contact Mark Stephens. Also, please send him any e-mail addresses or phone numbers for anyone who was either in the band or the band boosters. Check out the Missing in Action list for the latest names. |
